The Jazz Gallery Presents: Sachal Vasandani & Gerald Clayton

With Gerald Clayton back on the east coast for Don Was’s WasFest in Boston, vocalist Sachal Vasandani invited him to take a stop in New York for a special duo show at The Jazz Gallery. The pair have had a long association—Vasandani featured on Clayton’s 2013 GRAMMY-nominated album Life Forum, and the pair collaborated remotely in 2020 for a special single, “Hourglass Sea.”

For this performance at the Gallery, the pair will play some old favorites, plus several new compositions and arrangements alongside special guest trumpeter, Mike Rodriguez.

Sachal Vasandani, voice, and Gerald Clayton, piano, play The Jazz Gallery on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The pair will be joined by Mike Rodriguez on trumpet. Sets are at 7:30 and 9:30 P.M.
