Saxophonist Yosvany Terry is a true Jazz Gallery lifer, having led the venue’s “Jazz Cubano” house band back in the early 2000s and working with bassist Daryl Johns as part of the Jazz Gallery Mentorship Series. This weekend, Terry returns to the Gallery for two nights of performances alongside several longtime collaborators including his bassist-brother Yunior, pianist Osmany Paredes, and drummer Justin Brown.

Before coming out to hear Terry and company, take a listen to a bit of Terry’s virtual Gallery performance and interview from December 2020:

The group features Mr. Terry on saxophones & chekere, Osmany Paredes on piano, Hamish Smith (Friday) and Yunior Terry (Saturday) on bass, and Justin Brown on drums. Sets are at 7:30 & 9:30 P.M. E.D.T. each night. $30 general admission ($15 for members), $40 reserved cabaret seating ($25 for members), $20 livestream access ($5 for members) for each set. Purchase tickets here.
