The Jazz Gallery Presents: Godwin Louis

Saxophonist Godwin Louis is no stranger to The Jazz Gallery, having performed on stage many times, including for his 2014 Residency Commission project. In that project, Louis explored the traditional music of Haiti, where his family is from. Finding connections to African diasporic musics all over, the project morphed into his acclaimed 2019 record Global.

As the performance with drummer Jonathan Barber below can attest, the music is sure to be filled with joyous groove.
