The Jazz Gallery Presents: Immanuel Wilkins

This Saturday, November 4th, The Jazz Gallery is proud to welcome saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins back to our stage. We're lucky to catch Wilkins home in New York for a night, in between legs of a tour with Jason Moran's "IN MY MIND: Monk at Town Hall 1959" project. Though still in school, touring with Moran is just the latest way Wilkins has established himself as a mature musician with a distinct personality. Below, check out Wilkins performing live at Smalls with Joel Ross's Good Vibes, alongside a top-notch rhythm team of Fabian Almazan, Harish Raghavan, and Marcus Gilmore. For Saturday's show, Wilkins will convene a quartet of his peers—including Micah Thomas on piano, Ben Tiberio on bass, and Kweku Sumbry on drums—to play his original music. The Immanuel Wilkins Quartet plays The Jazz Gallery on Saturday, November 4th, 2017. The group features Mr. Wilkins on saxophone, Micah Thomas on piano, Ben Tiberio on bass, and Kweku Sumbry on drums. Sets are at 7:30 and 9:30 P.M. $22 general admission ($12 for members), $30 reserved cabaret seating ($20 for members) for each set. Purchase tickets here.
